Kathryn Sawchak, MD
Kathryn Sawchak, a Texan transplant, completed her medical school training at Baylor College of Medical School and her OB/GYN residency at University of Kansas School of Medicine residency program. She resided in Wichita Kansas for a year following residency to support her husband, Dr. Erik Severud, in the completion of his orthopedic residency. She and her family then spent a year in California while her husband did his fellowship training in Sports Medicine and she worked for Kaiser Permanente Medical Group. Following completion of this stay in California, she and her family returned to Kansas. She partnered with a colleague and friend Dr. Ann Hentzen Page to create "The Woman's Place". Throughout the many years, she has valued the privilege of providing top quality care to women and families. Compassionate, individualized care is of utmost priority and she is honored to be a part of the community. She is a mother of 6 and in her personal time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She looks forward to providing care for all women for many years to come.
